Meet Sam — Founder of Sleep Solutions and The Temperament & Sleep Lab

Hi, I’m Sam, a Certified Sleep Coach, child development expert, and mum to my little boy, Archie.

Like so many parents, I was blindsided by how intense early parenthood can feel — the love, the worry, the guilt, and the exhaustion that seeps into every part of your day (and night). When you’re running on empty, even the smallest things feel huge.

That experience changed everything for me. It showed me that parents don’t need “fixes” or one-size-fits-all sleep plans. They need understanding, clarity, and a way to tune into their child’s unique temperament.

That’s where my work now begins. 

My Approach: Understanding Before Intervening

I believe that better sleep starts with understanding your child — not controlling them.

Through my Temperament & Sleep Lab and Sleep Blueprint, I help families uncover the why behind sleep struggles and guide them toward calmer, more connected nights using gentle, practical strategies that fit their child’s natural rhythms.

I don’t teach sleep training as a rigid method. I teach it as a tool — one that can be adapted thoughtfully, respectfully, and with emotional safety at the core.

My approach blends:

  • The science of temperament and early brain development

  • Gentle, evidence-based sleep strategies

  • Emotional regulation tools for both parent and child

  • Connection-focused routines that grow with your family

 

The goal isn’t just better sleep. It’s calmer evenings, more confidence, and a home that feels peaceful again.

My Background

Before launching Sleep Solutions with Sam, I spent over 12 years working in early years settings, supporting families to understand children’s behaviour, development, and emotional needs. That foundation shaped how I coach today — with compassion, structure, and a deep respect for individuality.

Now, I bring all of that together in my signature services — helping parents move from overwhelm to understanding, and from exhaustion to confidence.
